Free NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/3/22

Both Miami and Phoenix looked sharp last night, as they took care of business and defended the home court, in a couple of Game 1 matchups. Tonight the Celtics and Grizzlies are in must-win situations at home in Game 2 of their respective series. Let’s look at what we can expect.

We picked Miami to win Game 1, but fail to cover the 7.5-pt. spread against the 76ers as our Best Bet. The Heat used a 56-41 2nd half advantage to keep us from cashing. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 88-46 in 2022.

We correctly predicted both games and went 2-0 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 465-229 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at the Milwaukee-Boston game and see what we think for the the battle tonight.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* Milwaukee at Boston (-4.5): Milwaukee leads the series 1-0: Despite the Bucks 101-89 thumping of the Celtics in Game 1, Boston is a 4.5-point favorite in Game 2 tonight. The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo who contributed 24 pts.,13 rebounds, and 12 assists. He received plenty of help from Jrue Holiday (25 pts. and 10 rebounds) and Bobby Portis with 15 and 11. Even without Khris Middleton, Milwaukee controlled the game and dominated the Celtics in the paint and that is an issue that Boston is going to have to address. The Celtics were held to 89 points which was one of their lowest outputs of the season. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for only 33 points on 10 for 31 shooting. Boston got very little scoring inside and shot 18-50 from behind the arc. They finished the night shooting only 33% from the field. It isn’t much of a stretch to think that the Celtics are going to shoot it a lot better tonight. This will be an absolute must win game for Boston and the Bucks are going to get the Celtics’ best shot. I’m shakily going to go with Boston, but I don’t feel good about it.
