Free NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/21/22

It was a tale of two halves last night in San Francisco. Dallas bounced back after a woeful performance in Game 1 and had a 19 point lead at one point in the 1st half. They went into the locker room with a 72-58 lead over the shell-shocked Warriors. But, Golden State turned the tables on the Mavericks and outscored them 68-45 in the final two quarters to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. Tonight, Miami heads to Boston coming off an embarrassing loss at home to the Celtics on Thursday. We will find a lot about both teams after this one.

We cashed one of our Best Bets last night as we had Golden State to win. However, we did a dumb thing and bet the UNDER 214 points and that never had a chance to cash. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 100-51 in 2022.

We went 1-0 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 484-236 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at what Vegas thinks about Game 3 in the Miami-Boston series as Boston tries to gain the advantage over the Heat.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Miami at Boston (-6.5): The series is tied at 1-1: Game 2 was not the Miami team that we have seen all year. They were completely dominated, and giving up 127 points at home, has been unheard of this season. Boston was 20-40 from the 3-point stripe and shot an overall percentage of 51.2% from the field. Marcus Smart and Al Horford returned to the lineup after missing Game 1 and their presence makes a big difference for Boston. Smart had 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 assists and Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for 51 more. The Celtics return to Boston with a ton of confidence and plenty of momentum as they will attempt to grab the lead in this series. But, don’t give up on Miami. This is a resilient team that knows how to deal with adversity and they have probably already forgotten what happened Thursday night. They are going to come out with a vengeance, especially on the defensive end. The thing that concerns me about the Heat, is how hard it was for them to beat the Celtics in Game 1, without Smart and Horford in the lineup. While it is true that they dominated Boston in the 3rd quarter of that game, they trailed the Celtics 62-54 at the half, and were outscored in every other quarter. Then, the Celtics got their starters back and blew them out in Game 2. Miami has me worried and until they prove they can slow down Boston, I’m going with the Celtics. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Boston -6.5
