Free NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/13/22

The Miami Heat became the first team to advance to the Conference Finals with their 99-90 victory over the 76ers. They continue to be the most physical and best defensive team in the playoffs. Meanwhile in the West, we had another unexplainable blowout as Dallas drilled the Suns 113-86 to force a Game 7 in Phoenix on Sunday. It was no surprise that Dallas won, but the margin of victory is strange. Milwaukee and Golden State will try and punch their ticket to the Conference Finals tonight.

We cashed our Best Bet last night as we took the Heat to win in Philly. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 96-48 in 2022.

We went 1-1 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 479-233 since Jan.1st.

These two games are tough tonight and let’s see if we can get lucky as we analyze Game 6 between Boston and Milwaukee.

Boston at Milwaukee (-1.5): Milwaukee leads the series 3-2: Boston travels to Milwaukee tonight after blowing Game 5 at home on Wednesday. The Celtics led by as many as 14 points in the 4th quarter, and by 6 with two minutes to play, before allowing the Bucks to win. Leading 107-105 with 11 seconds to play, Giannis Antetokounmpo was fouled and made the first free throw to cut the lead to one, but missed the 2nd. Bobby Portis grabbed the rebound for the Bucks and scored to give Milwaukee the lead. After a great defensive play by Jrue Holiday, they added two more free throws to pull off the win. Giannis led the way with 40 points while Holiday had 24, including some monster 3-pointers down the stretch. Boston has to put that tough loss on the back burner and recover quickly to keep the series alive. They can look to the fact that, except for the last few minutes, they played well. Jayson Tatum poured in 34 points and Jaylen Brown had 26 as well. They have been as good or better than Milwaukee in the previous 5 games. This is a tough game to pick because we just don’t know what the psyche of the Celtics will be and Milwaukee has the heart of a champion. It is very tempting to take a shot on Boston, but I think the home court will be the difference. PAPA DUDES PICK: Milwaukee -1.5
