Free NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/25/22

The first round of the playoffs continue to produce some surprises and injuries are beginning to become a problem for some of the teams. Tonight there are 3 games on tap with Boston and the Sixers looking to close out their series. In the West, Utah heads to Dallas for a pivotal game 5.

We split our 2 Best Bets yesterday as the Heat whipped up on the Hawks, but the Suns lost at New Orleans as the Pelicans continue to be a huge surprise so far. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 84-41 in 2022.

We went 2-2 betting the MoneyLine and the overall record is now 453-228 since Jan.1st.

These games continue to be difficult to pick and there isn’t much I feel good about tonight. But, it is my job to pick out some winners so let’s get after it.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* Boston at Brooklyn (-1): Boston leads the series 3-0: This series has been pretty simple. When the Celtics have needed to make a big play they have, and when Brooklyn has needed a momentum change, they have failed. That pretty much sums up the first three games. Boston is the better team and they have much better chemistry and much less drama than the Nets. Brooklyn is fully capable of getting a win tonight and sending this series back to Boston for a game 5, but there is no way they can win four in a row. I’m sticking with the much more professional Celtics. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Boston -1

Toronto at Philadelphia (-7.5): Philadelphia leads the series 3-1: The Raptors showed a lot of guts in winning game 4 on Saturday and keeping this series alive. And, superstar Joel Embiid has an injured thumb, and even though he will play, he will be hampered because of the injury. But, Toronto has injury concerns of their own as Fred Van Vleet is questionable for this one. If he can’t go, the Raptors will feel that loss. So, there are a multitude of ifs and buts, coming into to action tonight. I liked the way Toronto played in game 4, and I’m going to assume they are at full strength for tonight. I think the spread is too high and I’m going with the Raptors to play this one to the wire. PAPA DUDES PICK: Raptors +7.5
