Free NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/19/22

The NBA Eastern Conference Finals continue tonight in Miami. The Heat were almost perfect in the 3rd period of Game 1 and went on to win the opener. The Celtics should get Marcus Smart back tonight and Game 2 will be a full-scale war as Miami tries to get a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.

We cashed another Best Bet last night as the Golden State blew out Dallas in Game 1 of their series in the West. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 99-49 in 2022.

We went 1-0 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 483-235 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at what Vegas thinks about Game 2 between Boston and Miami and see if we can stay hot with our NBA bets.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Boston at Miami (-3.5): Miami leads the series 1-0: The Heat used a dominating 39-14 advantage in the 3rd period propel them to a 118-107 win on Game 1. Trailing 62-54 at halftime, Jimmy Butler outscored Boston 17-14 in the third quarter and added 10 more points in the final frame. Tyler Herro had 18 and Gabe Vincent chipped in 17. Miami took advantage of a Boston team that was missing starters, Marcus Smart (injured foot) and Al Horford (health and safety protocols). Smart should be available for tonight, but it is highly unlikely Horford will play. The Celtics received 29 points from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown had 24 but it wasn’t enough to overcome Miami at home. However, playing short-handed, the Celtics have to be encouraged that they were able to outplay the Heat for a lot of the game. This is a tightly contested series and I can see Boston evening things up tonight. But, with the probable loss of Horford the Celtics have a lack of depth and it hurts them defensively.
