Free NBA Eastern Conference Playoff Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/23/22

Last night Golden State went into Dallas and dealt the Mavericks a 109-100 loss that all been clinched their berth into the NBA Finals. They won despite a very average 11-32 from behind the arc, and more and more, it is becoming apparent, that they are a complete team. They have so many weapons and they are hitting on all cylinders and look like the likely NBA champion. Tonight, we return to the Eastern Finals and who has any idea what we are going to see in Game 4.

Our Best Bet crashed and burned as we picked the Mavericks to get a win in Dallas over Golden State. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 100-53 in 2022.

We went 0-1 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 484-238 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at what Vegas thinks about Game 4 in the Miami-Boston series in a matchup that I have very little feel for.

Miami at Boston (-7): Miami leads the series 2-1: This is a game that has so many question marks concerning injuries to both teams. Jimmy Butler didn’t play the 2nd half with a knee injury and he is questionable for this game. The Heat list 5 other players as questionable, as well, and who knows who will play. Boston is ailing too, with Marcus Smart, Robert Williams, and Jayson Tatum listed as questionable. This is a handicapper’s nightmare as this series is hard enough to figure out anyway. And, add in all these personnel injury issues and it becomes impossible. Here’s what we know. Miami is resilient and has a lot more depth than the Celtics. They have played through injuries all year long so this is nothing new to them. They have 5 or 6 players who can step up and carry them to victory. Boston relies on Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart, with an occasional outstanding effort from Al Horford to win games. Smart was gimpy after Game 3 and it’s hard to think he is going to be 100% tonight. Tatum injured his shoulder and scored only 10 points on 3-14 shooting. Will that injury affect him? I think the Celtics might fight through all of the injuries and figure how a way to win, but that line is too high for me to go against Miami. Give me the Heat to beat the spread. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Miami +7
