Free MLB National League Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 6/9/22

We did a little better with our picks last night in the National League. We cashed both of our Best Bets as both Miami and Arizona won their games. That improves our Best Bet of the Day record to 9-5 since June 7th.

We went 4-3 betting the MoneyLine and that evens our overall record at 24-19 as we continue to get this baseball thing figured out.

There are 5 games on the schedule today and they are as unpredictable as ever. Let’s see if we can get lucky and hope the ball bounces our way.

Pittsburgh at Atlanta: The Braves take on the Pirates tonight at home and clearly have the edge in the pitching matchup. They will start Max Fried who has a 5-2 record with a 2.74 ERA and has been one of the best pitchers in the National League. He has allowed only 22 runs in 69 innings and has 61 strikeouts and only 12 walks. Pittsburgh will counter with JT Brubaker who is 0-5 with a 4.71 ERA. On the plus side, he has struck out 53 batters in 51+ innings but he has given up a lot of runs, hits, and walks as well. Arizona Diamondbacks at Cincinnati Reds: Arizona bounced back last night after losing the first 2 games of this series and they will try and get a win today and a split of the four games. Zach Davies will get the nod on the mound and he has pitched better than his record. In his last outing, he had 7+ innings of shutout baseball but got a no decision for his great effort. He will attempt to pitch as well today. Tyler Mahle will oppose him for the Reds, and he is 2-5 with a 5.43 ERA in his 12 starts. He has been able to strike out a lot of hitters but it has been feast or famine. Cincinnati is the favorite in this game and the value is with Arizona who I was going to pick anyway.
