Free MLB National League Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 6/8/22

We continue to struggle with our baseball picks as we make the transition to the diamond from the ice and the hardwood. We were having a decent night until the late innings when everything collapsed. Let’s see if we can make a comeback tonight.

We bombed out on our two Best Bets yesterday, missing both the Brewers and the Pirates as our favorites. That lowers our overall Best Bet of the Day record in the National League to 1-3.

Our MoneyLIne bets proved to be very mediocre as well and we went 3-4. After two days of betting, our overall record is now 4-5.

There are 7 games on the schedule tonight and we are going to buckle down and have a better night. Let’s Go!

Washington Nationals at Miami Marlins: The Marlins bopped the Nationals last night 12-2 and have the much more favorable pitching matchup tonight. They will send out Sandy Alcantara who has been one of the best pitchers in all of baseball. He has a 6-2 record with a low 1.81 ERA. He has started 2 games against the Nationals and has only given up 2 runs in 14 innings. The Nationals will counter with Josiah Gray who is 6-4 but has a high ERA of 4.71. Arizona Diamondbacks at Cincinnati Reds: Cincinnati has won the first two games of this series, and has actually been playing .500 baseball in their last 25 games, after a horrible start to the season. But, the Diamondbacks are due for a win and have the advantage in the pitching matchup today. Merrill Kelly heads to the mound with a record of 4-3 and a decent ERA of 3.66. He has been consistent all year and Arizona needs a strong start out of him after getting knocked around in the first two games of the series. Cincinnati will counter with Mike Minor who will be making only his 2nd start of the season. He was ineffective in his first outing giving up 5 runs in only 4 innings of work.
