Free MLB National League Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 6/7/22

Yesterday was our first stab this season on picking some baseball games and it was a mixed bag to say the least. I promise I will get better as I get used to the nuances of betting this sport. Let’s see what we can find in the National League for today.

We had two Best Bets yesterday, cashing in on the Mets win over San Diego, but missing the Arizona-Cincinnati game. That brings our overall Best Bet of the Day record in the National League to 1-1.

There were only 2 games on the schedule last night so we went 1-1 betting the MoneyLine as well.

Philadelphia Phillies 25-29 at Milwaukee Brewers 33-23: The Phillies had a good weekend as they swept all three games with the Angels. That stretched their winning streak to four games. They will send Ranger Suarez to the mound with a 4-3 record and a 4.93 ERA. He has allowed 10 runs in his last 11 innings and needs to get back on track tonight. The Brewers had a poor weekend against San Diego and lost three out of four. They will be trying to return to their winning ways. Jason Alexander will be making his 2nd start and is coming off an excellent last outing when he went 7 innings giving up two earned runs. I’m going to take a shot on Milwaukee to get back to business and end the Philly winning streak at 4. PAPA DUDES BET: Bet the MoneyLIne on Milwaukee -115

Detroit Tigers 21-33 at Pittsburgh Pirates 24-28: This is a matchup between two mediocre teams from opposite divisions. The Tigers lost all three games against the rampaging Yankees and were shutout in the last two contests. Their offense has been anemic all season long and it is hard to win when you can’t score. Lefthander Tarik Skubal gets the nod for the Tigers and he has been impressive this season. He has a 4-2 record and has been solid in his first 10 starts. The Pirates are in the middle of a 7-3 streak and are playing well. They will counter with Jose Quintana who is 1-2 with a solid 2.32 ERA. The pitching matchup favors Detroit but I’m taking a chance on Pittsburgh. PAPA DUDES BET: Bet the MoneyLine on the Pirates +105
