• TOP 5 WINNERS OF THE WEEK:
• #1 ARIZONA: The Wildcats won three games (all on the road) and that’s not easy to do.
• #2 KENTUCKY: The Wildcats keep on rolling and are in line for a #1 seed if someone slips up.
• #3 USC : The Trojans went 2-0 and got a big win over archrival UCLA.
• #4 RUTGERS: They came into the week unheralded and with two more wins over ranked teams they are in the mix for a tournament bid.
• #5 BAYLOR: The Bears are back on track with wins at K-State and Texas at Waco.

• TOP 5 LOSERS OF THE WEEK:
• #1 HOUSTON: The Cougars were all the way up to #6 but after their two conference losses they might not get back.
• #2 MARQUETTE: They were everybody’s surprise team a couple of weeks ago but they lost two games last week and need to get well soon.
• #3 IOWA STATE: The Cyclones lost two more games and are now 3-9 in the Big 12. They are in danger of being left out of the tournament.
• #4 INDIANA: They went 0-2 losing at Northwestern and Michigan State. They need a couple of wins down the stretch.
• #5 ST.MARY’S : They cracked the Top-25 last week but lost two out of three games and probably will drop out of the the poll.
