Dudes Who Bet Sports Top 25 After Week 8

Wow, even in a week with a lack of marquee games, there were plenty of interesting happenings in college football. We had a 9-overtime game and Illinois finally beat Penn State 20-18 in a game that shouldn’t have been close. We saw Oklahoma almost LOSE TO KANSAS. And, it is not a stretch to say they should have lost. Two more undefeated teams went down as Coastal Carolina and Oklahoma State lost close games on the road. With 5 weeks to go, there is plenty of suspense left in this season. Let’s see the updated list.

NO.1 GEORGIA 7-0: The Bulldogs had a week off and now heads to Jacksonville to play their last tough game. This Week: Florida at Jacksonville

NO.2 ALABAMA 7-1: Alabama struggled with Tennessee before pulling away late.Mississippi State. This Week: Idle

NO.3 CINCINNATI 7-0: The Bearcats survived a close game against the Midshipmen. This Week: at Tulane

NO.4 MICHIGAN 7-0: This bunch moves up to No.4 as they continue to play quality football. This Week: at Michigan State

NO.5. OHIO STATE 6-1: The season boils down to the next five games for Ohio State. This Week: Penn State

NO.6 OKLAHOMA 8-0: If you get tested at Kansas and are lucky to win you get dropped down two spots. This Week: Texas Tech

NO.7 IOWA 6-1: Iowa comes back after the off week and have to resume what good be a great season. This Week: at Wisconsin

NO.8 NOTRE DAME 6-1: This team just keeps winning while others above them lose. This Week: North Carolina

NO.9 Oregon 6-1: The Ducks won a big one at UCLA and, at least this week, they are the best team in the Pac-12. This Week: Colorado

NO.10 OLE MISS 6-1: Another great week for the Rebels. This Week: at Auburn

NO.11 MICHIGAN STATE 7-0: We find out a lot about the Spartans on Saturday. This Week: Michigan

NO.12 KENTUCKY 6-1: The Wildcats come off the bye with a dangerous game. This Week: at Mississippi State

NO.13 OKLAHOMA STATE 6-1: The Cowboys played well but came up inches short in Ames. This Week: Kansas

NO.14 AUBURN 5-2: The Tigers can move up with a win on Saturday. This Week: Mississippi

NO.15 TEXAS A&M 6-2: The Aggies have figured things out on offense and are playing well. This Week: Idle

NO.16 SMU 7-0: Offensively, they are a machine behind Tanner Mordecai. This Week: at Houston

NO.17 PITTSBURGH 6-1: The Panthers got the big win they needed over Clemson. This Week: Miami

NO.18 PENN STATE 5-2: Just a horrible loss to Illinois. This Week: at Ohio State

NO.19 WAKE FOREST 7-0: Not very many teams have to score 70 against Army to win by two touchdowns. This Week: Duke

NO.20 SAN DIEGO STATE 7-0: Big win for the Aztecs against Air Force. This Week: at Fresno State

NO.21 BAYLOR: Are the Bears for real? We are going to find out in the coming weeks. This Week: Texas

NO.22 IOWA STATE: They are back in the Top-25 after falling out for about a month. This Week: at West Virginia

NO.23 UTSA 8-0: This is my favorite Top-25 team. The Roadrunners keep winning. This Week: Idle

NO.24 VIRGINA 6-2: They have quietly slipped into our Top-25. Can they stay in there? This Week: at BYU

NO.25 COASTAL CAROLINA 6-1: We decided to keep them in the poll despite their tough loss on Thursday. This Week: Lousiana Monroe
