Dudes Who Bet Sports Best Bets of the Week: 10/30-10/31

Here are our five best bets for this Saturday (10/30) and Sunday (10/31). Last week, we went a combined 7-3 and both of us nailed our LOCK OF THE WEEK as we both cashed on the Oklahoma State-Iowa State and we are now 12-4 for the year. I missed my UPSET SPECIAL as Purdue lost to Wisconsin dropping my record to 7-2 for this season. We like seven games on Saturday in college football and three NFL games on Monday.

Saturday’s Best Bets:

*PAPA DUDES LOCK OF THE WEEK* North Carolina at Notre Dame: The Irish are 6-1, they are at home, they have an outside chance at making the playoffs, and the Tar Heels are a very average team. And, it’s in South Bend. All of this usually leads to a Notre Dame victory. They are currently a 3.5-point favorite. That is enough for me.

PAPA DUDES PICK: Notre Dame -3.5

*AARON’S LOCK OF THE WEEK* The Kansas Jayhawks travel to Stillwater to take on Oklahoma State after their close loss to Oklahoma last week. The tendency for a 1-6 team like Kansas is to have a big letdown after playing so well the week before. The Cowboys are coming off a disappointing loss at Iowa State but they are at home and should bounce back.

AARON’S PICK: Oklahoma State OVER 30.5 Team Points

Florida State at Clemson: The Seminoles come into Clemson with a 3-game winning streak and they are having their worst season in a long, long time. Florida State could win this outright and Clemson is favored by 9-points so that is one angle to bet. But, the angle I like the best is Clemson’s team point total. Their offense doesn’t seem to be getting any better and the team point total is too high.

PAPA DUDES PICK: Clemson UNDER 27.5 Team Points

SMU at Houston: The Mustangs and their high-flying offense go down the road to Houston and take on the Cougars who have won 6 straight games. Obviously, this is a huge game in the American Conference. The Dudes like SMU in this one.

DUDES WHO BET SPORTS PICK: SMU OVER 30.5 Team Points

Mississippi at Auburn: Just another great game in the SEC. The winner is still alive to claim the West division of the conference. This shapes up as a very entertaining game. Ole Miss can put up points, but they have scored 31 in the last two games against Tennessee and LSU. Auburn’s defense is better than those two teams.

PAPA DUDES PICK: UNDER 66 Total Combined Points

Michigan at Michigan State: Two undefeated teams going at it in East Lansing. The two teams are very similar in how they play and they probably will play pretty conservatively, plus the weather could be a factor in late October. It all points to a low-scoring game.

PAPA DUDES PICK: UNDER 50.5 Total Combined Points

OTHERS TO CONSIDER:

Georgia at Florida: Georgia defense is so good and don’t give up points. UNDER 50.5 Total Combined Points

Penn State at Ohio State: Penn State plays their butt off after being embarrassed last week. Penn State +19

Sunday’s Best Bets:

LA RAMS at Houston: The Rams come into Houston at 6-1 and the Texans are really struggling. This should be an easy victory, if the Rams are emotionally ready.

AARON’S PICK: RAMS OVER 30.5 Team Points

Cincinnati at New York Jets: Another game pitting a good team against a bad team. The Bengals are flying high after the win at Baltimore and they can’t afford to slip up against the Jets.

AARON’S PICK: Cincinnati OVER 27.5 Team Points

Tennessee at Indianapolis: Very underrated game on the NFL card this week. A win for the Colts gets them back in the hunt in the AFC South. The Titans are playing at a high level coming into this one.
