Dudes Who Bet Sports Best Bets of the Week 11/27-11/28

The Dudes went 5-5 last week in another tough week of predicting these crazy games. Again, a couple of games were decided in overtime and they went the wrong way and that happens sometimes. Let’s see what we can come up with this week.

SATURDAY”S BEST BETS:

Wisconsin at Minnesota: This game has major implications as to who will represent the West division in the Big Ten title game. It is very simple for Wisconsin; win and they are in. Meanwhile, the Gophers still have an outside chance of getting there. The game is in Minneapolis and it is a good rivalry, so this should be a slugfest. Wisconsin has a great defense but I like the team total for Minnesota.

Papa Dudes Best Bet: Minnesota OVER 14.5 team points

Oklahoma at Oklahoma State -4: This is a rare occasion in Bedlam where the Cowboys are the favored team. Oklahoma has had Oklahoma State’s number for much of this rivalry as we all know. The Sooners have played very well at Stillwater in recent times and haven’t lost there since 2011. However, they are starting a true freshman at quarterback and he is going up against one of the best defenses in the country. This has a chance to get ugly.

Dudes Who Bet Sports Best Bet: Oklahoma State -4 *Papa Dudes Lock of the Week*

Western Kentucky at Marshall: This is a very big game in C-USA. The winner will play UTSA for the conference championship. Both teams can score and this could be a shootout. The over/under is 74 combined points which could happen, but that is a lot of points and, Marshall is pretty good on defense.

Papa Dudes Best Bet: UNDER 74 combined team points

BYU-7 at USC : It certainly looks like the Trojans have tossed it in for the season after last week’s 62-33 loss to crosstown rival UCLA. BYU is riding high and a win here will give them 10 for the season.

Aaron’s Best Bet: BYU -7

Clemson -12.5 at South Carolina: This is a much bigger rivalry than people know. For the first time in the last 6 or 7 years, the Gamecocks have a legitimate chance to win. Clemson is playing much better for sure, but they aren’t a powerhouse. South Carolina has won two straight including a big one last week against Auburn. That place will be rocking.

Papa Dudes Best Bet: South Carolina +12.5

SUNDAY’S BEST BETS

New York Jets at Houston -2.5: Two of the worst teams in the NFL go head-to-head in Texas this Sunday. Houston defeated Tennessee last week and have a great chance to get win No.3.

Aaron’s Best Bet: Houston -2.5

Cleveland at Baltimore -3.5: The Browns are in disarray and their offense is really stagnant. They are coming into Baltimore with their backs to the wall and it is a must win. However, they haven’t responded very well in these situations. Baltimore might romp in this one.

Aaron’s Best Bet: Baltimore -3.5

Tampa Bay at Indianapolis: The Bucs head into Indianapolis and take on the Colts, who have won three straight games, and are in the race for a wild card spot in the playoffs. This is Tampa’s start to make their push into the defense of their Super Bowl championship. In other words, it is Tom Brady time.

Aaron’s Pick: Tampa Bay OVER 27 team points

Atlanta at Jacksonville: This is another horrible NFL game between two bad football teams. Neither team is very good at anything, but their offensive output is low. Atlanta has scored some points in a few games, but they have scored a total of 3 in the last two games combined. Meanwhile, Jacksonville’s highest scoring output, has been 23 points.

Papa Dudes Best Bet: UNDER 46 combined team points
