The Dudes went 7-3 and gave ourselves a big pat on the back. This week is Conference Championship Week in College Football. And there are some tough betting games in the NFL as well. Let’s see what we can come up with this week.

FRIDAY’S BEST BETS:

Western Kentucky -1.5 at UTSA: The Hilltoppers have won 7 straight since a 52-46 loss to UTSA dropped their record to 1-4. Meanwhile, the Roadrunners lost 45-23 to North Texas (6-6) last week to end their undefeated season. We’re thinking they are still reeling from that loss. Western Kentucky has a great offense and we think they keep it going.

Dudes Who Bet Sports Best Bet: Western Kentucky -1.5

Oregon vs. Utah in Las Vegas: The Utes beat the Ducks 38-7 two weeks ago in Salt Lake City. Both teams won their game last week and Oregon is looking for some revenge. I’m not sure who is going to win but Utah put up 38 points and usually the defense for the other team makes some adjustments and play better.

Papa Dudes Best Bet: Utah UNDER 31.5 team points

SATURDAY”S BEST BETS:

Alabama vs. Georgia -6.5 at Atlanta: The battle for the SEC Championship features these two bitter rivals. Georgia has been the best team in college football for the entire season, led by their dominating defense. They are allowing 7 points and 231 total yards of offense per game. The Crimson Tide is coming into this game off a bad offensive performance against a beat-up Auburn team. We rarely ever bet against them, but I think their team point total is going to be hard to reach.

Papa Dudes Best Bet: Alabama UNDER 23.5 team points

Pittsburgh vs. Wake Forest at Charlotte: This will be an offensive shootout between two really good quarterbacks. The difference might be the Panthers defense which is better than what Wake will have.

SUNDAY’S BEST BETS

LA Chargers vs. Cincinnati -3: The Bengals have won 2 in a row and this is a game that can propel them towards the playoffs as either a division winner or a wild card team. You never know what you are going to get with the Chargers, from one week to the next, which makes them dangerous to bet. We are going with Cincinnati in this one.

Dudes Who Bet Sports Best Bet: Cincinnati -3

Indianapolis at Houston: I like the over/under for combined team points in this one. Houston has trouble scoring and Indianapolis could be down after their close loss last week against Tampa Bay.

Papa Dudes Best Bet: Under 46.5 combined team points

New England at Buffalo: The Patriots head into Buffalo to take on the Bills for a huge game in the AFC East. The Pats have won in six in a row and these two are virtually tied for the division lead. This is a toss-up game that either team can win. The line I like is the Patriots’ team total. It seems too low for an offense that is playing pretty well.
