Snapper Sinclair Stalks, Surges in $350,000 Fasig-Tipton Turf Showcase Juvenile

FRANKLIN, KY – Bloom Racing Stable’s Snapper Sinclair used a stalking trip under Ricardo Santana, Jr., before surging to the lead and crossing first in Wednesday’s $350,000 Fasig-Tipton Turf Showcase Juvenile Stakes at Kentucky Downs.

John Tippmann won the photo for second over Arawak. Sky Promise was up for fourth ahead of Bantu, who was a head in front of Stolen Pistol. Renaisance FrolicMr AshleyLittle Jimmy BTigerbeachNorthern Trail, and Make Noise completed the order of finish. Smart Remark, Pont Du Gard, Captivating Moon, and East Rand were scratched as also-eligibles.

The win was the second in three starts for the son of City Zip, who broke his maiden on August 14 at Saratoga after debuting sixth at Belmont on July 8.

Snapper Sinclair returned $6.20 to win, $4.40 to place, and $3.20 to show. John Tippmann brought back $12.40 to place and $7.60 to show, while Arawak paid $5 to show.
