Slim Pickins NFL Picks Week 5 Player Props

Future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Tom Brady said this week in a press conference:

“I think there’s a lot of bad football from what I watch. I watch a lot of bad football. Poor quality of football. That’s what I see.”

It is undeniable that there are a lot of bad teams in football and taking advantage of these poor teams when gambling is always the focus, whether you’re playing the lines or the props.

This week on Slim Pickins we’re picking apart the bad teams in the league to get paid when betting the player props. After four weeks, the worst of the worst have revealed themselves. Now it’s time to use the data we’ve gained early in the season to get profit.

(All games being played on Sunday, October 9, 2022)

1. New York Giants Saquon Barkley OVER 77.5 yards rushing vs. Green Bay Packers in London, 9:30 a.m. Eastern
   • Saquon leads the NFL in rushing yards and looks to keep it going against one of the worst ranked run defenses in the league.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars James Robinson OVER 61.5 yards rushing (-115) vs. Houston Texans, 1 p.m. Eastern
   • The worst rated run defense Texans go to Jacksonville and James Robinson should clear this rushing yard number if he gets a normal workload.
3. Philadelphia Eagle Jalen Hurts OVER 249.5 yards passing (-115) vs. Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m. Eastern
   • The Cardinals defense is one of the worst against the pass and have no pass rush to force Hurts out of the pocket. He’ll pick them apart all day!
4. Two-part parlay: Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow OVER 279.5 yards passing AND Ja’marr Chase OVER 74.5 yards receiving (+185), at Baltimore Ravines, 8:20 p.m. Eastern
   • The Ravens have given up the most passing yards in the league and the high-powered Bengals passing game comes into town for a Sunday night showdown. With Tee Higgins likely playing on a bum ankle, give me Chase to lead Cincy in receiving in a possible shootout.
