Trained by Saffie Joseph Jr., Shify She and jockey Edwin Gonzalaez were pressured from the start by Bienville Street, who began fading by the 3/16 pole once her energy was depleted.
Shifty She pressed on and gamely held off a late push from Sun Summers to win the 1 1/16-mile firm turf route by a 1/2-length in 1:40.13. The 4/5 favorite won her second consecutive start following the local 1-mile Powder Break Stakes.
Lovely Luvy took third by 1 length over Summering. Mo of the West, Bienville Street, Key Biscayne, and Forbidden Dream completed the order of finish.
