( Content Continues Below Ad ) Search Results broke from post 3 under Javier Castellano and immediately applied pressure to the right hip of the rail-breaking Miss Brazil, the 9/5 favorite who posted opening fractions of :24.53, :49.64, and 1:15.14. Miss Brazil straightened for home still with a slight advantage and held it until mid-stretch, when Search Results finally wore down the pacesetter and slipped by late. The Chad Brown trainee crossed a 1/2-length clear, completing the fast one-turn dirt mile in 1:39.75. “She broke so well out of the gate,” Castellano said. “She put me in a good position to rate and I didn’t want to take that away from her and take her back. I just let her do what she wanted to do. She was happy and she settled fine. They were just galloping along in the lead with (Miss Brazil), who was my target on paper.” Credit: NYRA / Dom Napolitano The winner’s stablemate The Grass Is Blue took third, 5 3/4 lengths behind the top pair but clear by a 1/2-length over Laobanonaprayer. Make Mischief and Mo Desserts completing the order of finish in the race restricted to 3-year-old fillies. The Busher is part of the Road to the 2021 Kentucky Oaks (G1) prep race season. Search Results earned 50 points for the win, with Miss Brazil receiving 20 for second, The Grass Is Blue 10 for third, and Laobanonaprayer 5 for fourth. Search Results’ win was her second from as many starts following a 4-length score going 6 furlongs on the Gulfstream Park dirt on January 3. The Flatter filly, purchased for $310,000 as a yearling, has now bankrolled $161,500. “I like the way she galloped out and I think she’s going to be a good filly in the future,” Castellano said. “Two turns will be even better.” Search Results returned $6.30 to win, $3.10 to place, and $2.60 to show. Miss Brazil brought back $3.40 to place and $2.50 to show. The Grass Is Blue paid $3.10 to show.
