Remington Park Pick 4 Analysis 9-19-12

If you’ve never bet the Remington Park Prime Time Pick 4 you are really missing out.  It’s the only pick 4 Remington offers, and it almost always pays a very solid amount.  The fields in the sequence are always full and well-balanced.  Here is what our ticket will look like for tonight’s action.  Remember that this pick 4 has a $1 minimum, not .50 cents.

Remington Pick 4 Ticket

Race 7: 1,4

Race 8: 6,7,9

Race 9: 9

Race 10: 1,4,6,7,8,9,10,11

Total Cost: $48

Analysis: As you can see from my picks, in my opinion the key to this whole thing is the tenth race.  Anytime you put 14 $7,500 Oklahoma bred maiden claimers in the same field you are asking for craziness!  I put eight horses in that leg, and honestly I still don’t feel comfortable about it.  Because of that race, I had to go lighter than I really wanted to in races 7-9.  Race seven is fairly wide open, but I went with strong connections in hopes to pull me through.  Race eight is an ultra competitive race as well, but once again I went with strong Remington Park connections.  Anthony is my single in the ninth.  He just missed last time out in a similar race, and notice he’s the only horse not in for a tag in this one.  Also notice that Remington Park leading rider Cliff Berry rides this one once again.  All of those are good angles, and with that single if keeps your ticket under $50.  Good luck to all of you that are playing!
