Analysis: The Grade 1 Florida Derby is finally here, and Nyquist will look to take over the number one spot in the rankings while keeping his undefeated streak alive. The match up of our top two horses is something that has never happened before so this truly will be a special race. I’ve speculated all along that Nyquist would not be quite as strong as the distances got longer, and on Saturday we will finally see if that is the case.
