Analysis: He passed his first major test with flying colors! At first I was moderately impressed with his San Felipe win, but after watching it a few times I’ve become more and more impressed. With a ton of speed signed on in the race he ended up being the “speed of the speed” and basically ran the early pace setters into the ground. He still had plenty left for the stretch, and the gallop out was good enough to make me think he can go longer. Lightly raced and could improve even more with his next few starts…there is a lot to like.
