Analysis: After the heartbreak of Mastery last weekend, Bob Baffert will try to rebound with American Anthem in the Rebel Stakes this weekend.  This will perhaps be the toughest prep race thus far, so American Anthem will have his hands full, but Bob Baffert owns this race.  There has been much speculation on who is the best Baffert horse, but with Mastery now off the trail, American Anthem may stand alone as Baffert’s best – and only – chance.
