Analysis: I really love this horse…but not going any longer than a mile. He made a winning move in the San Felipe, but just absolutely hit a wall turning for home. The race left little doubt in my mind that he was the best horse of the bunch, but he just can’t go much further than a mile. Keep him at one turn and he’ll be fine. It’s frustrating because his breeding suggests he wants to go longer, but he’s proven time and time again that he can’t do it.
