Analysis: Anytime you can leap from a maiden win at Aqueduct to a nice stakes win at Tampa Bay you know you’ve got a good horse on your hands. That’s exactly what Ocean Knight did, and now he’s set up to take a swing or two at the big Kentucky Derby Points races next time out. Much like his father, Curlin, Ocean Knight is lightly raced and still has some growing up to do, but the talent is there. He raced widest of all at Tampa in the Sam F. Davis, and was still able to win.
