Analysis: Came up huge in the Tampa Bay Derby as he was able to sweep the two big 3 year old races at Tampa Bay Downs. The thing I like about this horse is the steady improvement he’s showing. He ran an average fourth at Fair Grounds to start the year, and each race after that has been better and better. Hopefully he didn’t peak at Tampa, and continues to improve as we go along. I hate that he won’t run one last prep race, but it was nice to see runners he beat in the Tampa Bay Derby come back and win big races over the weekend.
