Analysis: Wow…as bad as his trip was in the Risen Star the Louisiana Derby may have been worse. Once again he got crushed down the stretch finishing a troubled fourth, and once again the excuses are out in full force. Personally I’m a little sick of this horse, but he has earned enough points to qualify and is better than a couple of horses on this list. Needless to say he’ll have a new rider in the Kentucky Derby, but I’m skeptical it will do much good.
