Analysis: Came up huge in the Tampa Bay Derby as he was able to sweep the two big 3 year old races at Tampa Bay Downs. The thing I like about this horse is the steady improvement he’s showing. He ran an average fourth at Fair Grounds to start the year, and each race after that has been better and better. Hopefully he didn’t peak at Tampa, and continues to improve as we go along. However, I moved him down with the news that he will not race in another prep race before the Kentucky Derby. Will be tough for him to be ready off that kind of layoff.
