Analysis: It’s a huge weekend for Shagaf as he most likely will be the favorite in the Grade 1 Wood Memorial. His win in the Gotham was not an impressive one, but this lightly race colt could and honestly should improve with more racing experience and added distance. This horse has been ranked number one by Santa Anita morning line maker Jon White for quite some time now so that is something that should be given a lot of attention. We’ll see if he can prove Jon right once again this weekend.
