Analysis: For the first time all year Mohaymen is not our number one ranked Kentucky Derby prospect. No way around it…he threw in a complete clunker of a race in the Florida Derby against Nyquist. The worst part of it all for me was the fact he did make a nice move on the turn to challenge Nyquist, but once he saw he wasn’t making up ground he quit running. That’s obviously not what you want to see, and now he’ll have to regroup in a big way to have a shot in the big dance.
