Analysis: Time to see what he’s made of this Saturday in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby. With a big wire to wire win under his belt over the same horses that he faced last time out in the San Felipe Stakes he should be the favorite in the race, but many are skeptical. I am not one of those people as I was very impressed with his winning effort last time out and believe he’ll run very well again this week. His front end speed could be interesting in the Kentucky Derby if he hooks up with Nyquist.
