Analysis: Well… what do we make of this horse now? He checked several of the boxes in his Florida Derby romp, but there are a few drawbacks.  Todd Pletcher’s Kentucky Derby record is well-documented, but more importantly, can we trust Gulfstream Park? Sometimes, the numbers and big performances at Gulfstream don’t translate to success once a horse ships to another track.  Always Dreaming looked like the real deal when winning the Florida Derby, though, so for now, I’m extremely high on him.
