Analysis: Bob Baffert is back on the Kentucky Derby trail although this horse doesn’t quite measure up to the two studs he had last year in American Pharoah and Dortmund. Mor Spirit still looked a bit green while winning a Grade 1 last time out, but definitely has the talent. However, the second place finisher of the Los Alamitos Futurity was beaten badly in the Smarty Jones at Oaklawn last time out so that field he beat is in question. Runs this weekend at Santa Anita.
