Analysis: He didn’t loose much in defeat in my eyes when finishing a solid second in the Withers Stakes on Saturday.  He basically did all the dirty work in that race as he challenged Classy Class for over half the race.  A speed duel commenced, and El Kabeir put away Classy Class, but was unable hold off a late charge from the winner Far From Over.  I expect a little bit more of a patient ride next time out for him.
