Analysis: He evidently had a throat surgery, changed running tactics, and it worked in a big way as he ran a very solid race in the Wood Memorial.  I’m not sure if he’s as talented at the top tier horses, but it’s certainly intriguing that he improved so much from his second to last prep to last prep.
