Racing Dudes Divisional Rankings 9/10/15

Sprinters

1. Private Zone – No other horse in American is as consistent as this guy! Shows up and takes them as far as he can on the front end every single time.

2. Secret Circle – Officially has been retired and sadly will probably fall down the rankings as the season goes on.

3. Rock Fall – Will be tough to handle at six furlongs as long as his form holds up.

4. Runhappy – If he can repeat the effort he showed us in the King’s Bishop then he will become the top sprinter.

5. Masochistic – Continues to be the most consistent of the sprinters in California right now.

Sleeper: Work All Week – He’s been forgotten about somewhat as his connections ran him in a soft spot last time out. Don’t be fooled though…they are prepping him for the big one at the Breeders’ Cup once again.

2 Year Old Males

1. Nyquist – Most impressive and also the most accomplished horse so far.  Still running a bit green, but at the sprint distances he is way better than the rest.

2. Ralis – Shipped to Saratoga and won the Hopeful Stakes very easily.  Reddam Racing owns him and Nyquist.

3. Exaggerator – Another California based horse that shipped to Saratoga as he won the Saratoga Special.  Could be great going longer.

4. Saratoga Mischief – Ran a very tough second to Exaggerator in the Saratoga Special.

5. Ready Dancer – Added blinkers for his third start and ran 10 lengths better.  Could be an up and comer.

Sleeper: Blameitonthelaw – Ran poorly in the Del Mar Futurity, but think he’s better than what he showed in that race.  Wouldn’t give up on him yet if I were you.

2 Year Old Females

1. Songbird – Put away a solid horse in Pretty N Cool in the Del Mar Debutante with relative ease.  Deserves this spot for now.

2. Rachel’s Valentina – Rachel Alexandra’s little girl is the “feel good” story of the year so far as she is now a Grade 1 winner.

3. Just Wicked – Very impressive Adirondack winner could have a lot to say in this division in the weeks to come.

4. Tap To It – Close loss in the Spinaway to Rachel’s Valentina…more distance might help.

5. Pretty N Cool – Lost fair and square to the top horse in this division, but don’t count her out completely.  Still is a talented filly.

Sleeper: Width – Just a maiden winner right now, but for my money she was one of the most impressive ones of the meet at Saratoga.
