Welcome to Slim Pickins NFL Player Props! This is a product where we’ll give out our best player prop bets for each of the primetime games (Thursday, Sunday and Monday Night Football) for FREE on the Racing Dudes website. We’ll also discuss Wagering Strategy, Bankroll Management and Discipline.

To start off the betting for the 2022 season, let’s jump right into the opening Thursday night game with the Super Bowl defending champs Los Angeles Rams hosting this season’s betting favorite to win it all, the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills will look for revenge from their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Playoff round in one of the greatest games of all-time. In that game, Bills wide receiver GABRIEL DAVIS had one of the best games in NFL history with a playoff record-setting four touchdown receptions. His line read 8 catches for 201 yards and 4 TDs in the Bills last game of the season and it’s predictable that he’ll pick up right where he left off.

The Rams only gave up 17 passing TDs last year, the second lowest in the league, but Gabriel Davis will be a TD machine this year. This is what a TD machine looks like catching a touchdown and destroying a defensive back on a grown man’s 6-point catch just a few weeks ago in the preseason:

It is expected top Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey should be mostly matched up with Bills #1 wideout Stefon Diggs giving Gabe Davis some relief to get a touchdown in the opener from his top quarterback Josh Allen.

Here are some stats that back the third-year wide receiver Davis breaking out in 2022 with a lot of TDs:

Davis played 18 games total in 2021 including playoffs getting 76 targets for 45 catches and 11 TDs (every 4th catch was a TD).

In his last 7 games of 2021 including playoffs, Davis had 49 Targets (7 per game) for 28 catches (4 per game) and 9 TDs (every 3rd catch was a TD).

Imagine a wide receiver where every 3rd catch is a TD? He probably can’t keep that rate up for the season with more targets this year, but I’m willing to bet he can get one TD in a possibly high scoring game to start the season!

Enjoy the game and please join us at halftime on the Racing Dudes YouTube channel for the “Slim & Somo Thursday Night Halftime Show” with me and top handicapper Mike “Somobombs” Somich talking about all the top NFL matchups for the coming week.
