A homebred for Amerman Racing trained by Michael McCarthy, Endlessly covered 1 1/8 miles on the all-weather surface in 1.50.15 and returned $4.88. Umberto Rispoli settled Endlessy in seventh off the early pace set by Lucky Jeremy, who was pressed by Northern Flame through six furlongs in 1:13. The Oscar Performance colt had plenty of energy in reserve when called upon and shook off 11 overmatched rivals to win by four widening lengths. West Saratoga was up for second, Seize the Gray was third, Triple Espresso was fourth and Lucky Jeremy checked in fifth. Endlessly, who was raised at Mill Ridge Farm in Lexington where Oscar Performance stands, was produced by the Langfuhr mare Dream Fuhrever. The Jeff Ruby Steaks is a qualifier for the Kentucky Derby (G1), and Endlessly earned 100 points toward starting eligibility in the 1¼-mile classic May 4 at Churchill Downs. Perfect in two starts this year, Endlessly came into the Jeff Ruby Steaks with three stakes wins, most recently the El Camino Real Derby Feb, 10 at Golden Gate Fields in his 3-year-old debut. That race followed graded stakes wins as a juvenile in the Del Mar Juvenile Turf (G3) and Zuma Beach (G3) before a lackluster eighth in the Prevagen Breeders; Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) to cap the season. Overall, Endlessly has five victories from six career starts and $707,200 in lifetime earnings.
