Bob (trainer Baffert) didn’t give me any instructions. He ran two (also Halone) in there and he told us riders ‘You’re on your own’ He always gives you confidence when you ride for him. But when that two (horse, Tambo) headed her at the top (of the stretch) you could tell that filly was given. Then we came running. I thought ‘There’s too much (ground to make up)’ and at the wire I wasn’t sure. But we got the bob and I’m happy.”
