Betting Tips Breeders Cup Predictions #4 October 2, 2012 Betting Tips Breeders Cup Predictions #4 October 2, 2012 By: Aaron Halterman twitterfacebooklinkedinemail Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article Six changes this week!! Classic: Game On Dude – All he did was convince me even further that he’s the horse to beat. He loves the Santa Anita track, and has been, without question, the most consistent older horse over the last two years. Ladies Classic: Questing – I had Royal Delta picked, and was calling for a big win but news broke that she’s now heading towards the Classic. With that news I am sticking by my orginal pick of Questing. Mile: Wise Dan – There is a possibility he could run this Saturday at Keeneland. Whether he does or not makes no difference in my opinion of him being the best turf miler in the country. Turf: Optimizer – I’ll keep him as my top selection for another week, and he’s another horse that might be running at Keeneland this Saturday. Juvenile: Power Broker – I’m not totally shocked that this horse won the FrontRunner on Saturday, but I never imagined he would be so dominant. Big time home track advantage for him in the Breeders Cup! Dirt Mile: Shakleford – He showed me that he’s back in good form in the Kelso, even though he didn’t win. I’m not thrilled with making him my selection, but he’ll do for now. Turf Sprint: Bridgetown – We’ll learn a lot more about this division this weekend at Keeneland. Sprint: Amazombie – I really want to pick a long shot here, but just can’t go against Amazombie. Filly and Mare Sprint: It’s Tricky – Many of you probably were disappointed with her effort this week against Royal Delta, but I was not. Why? Because now I think they’ll spot this horse where she belongs…the Filly and Mare Sprint OR the Dirt Mile. She’ll be tough in either one. Juvenile Turf: Brown Almighty – Worked a bullet last week in preparation for a rematch with Java’s War at Keeneland this weekend. Filly and Mare Turf: Nahrain – Strong showing in the Flower Bowl last Saturday. On the fence with this race, but will make her my pick for now. Juvenile Filly: Executiveprivilege – Brilliant again! Without a doubt the horse to beat in this one. Juvenile Filly Turf: Speedinthruthecity – Looking at Keeneland this weekend for answers on this race. Marathon: Eldaafer – Redeemed has been retired, so Eldaafer is now the selection mainly because it’s a real question mark as to who will even be in this race. Juvenile Sprint:Kauai Katie – They may try her in the Juvenile Filly, but if she lands in this spot I think she’ll beat the boys.
