Breeders Cup Predictions #4

untitled1

The Classic: Game On Dude – Another week with the big guy on top.  If he can show up with his “A” game it’s really tough to see anyone beating him.  The only dark cloud that looms large is his performance in this race last year.

The Distaff: Royal Delta – Bill Mott admitted that the champ wasn’t fully cranked up last time out.  She will be on Breeders Cup day.

The Mile: Wise Dan – So the big horse is human I guess…and maybe he’s not the “lock of the Breeders Cup” now.  I’m still sticking with him, as he’s still looked unbeatable on turf.

The Sprint: Fast Bullet – l was going to put Goldencents in this spot, but early this morning they announced he would run in the dirt mile. Still a wide open event!

The Filly and Mare Turf: Dank – So impressive on Arlington Million day!  Very confident in this ones chances.

The Turf: Big Blue Kitten – Even though he lost, I think this one is doing so well.  Thought he was much the best in the Hirsch, and know the mile and one-half will be to his liking.

The Juvenile Fillies: Untapable – Loved her win at Churchill last time out, and she definitely has room for improvement off that race.  Asmussen two-year olds have been dazzling this year.

The Juvenile: Honor Code – He looks like a horse that is going to love added distance.  Thought he was much the best in the Champagne, but will he be able to overcome what usually is a speed favoring track at Santa Anita?

The Turf Sprint: Mizdirection – Defending champion will be tough to beat on the downhill turf course.  She’s never been beaten on that track.

The Filly and Mare Sprint: Reenesgotzip – Major challengers are lining up behind her in this one.  This could be one of the more exciting races of the entire event.

The Dirt Mile: Graydar – He will be hard to bet against no matter where he enters.  Came back from the layoff better than ever; lets hope he lands in this spot!

The Juvenile Turf: Bobby’s Kitten – Super performance in his first Stakes try.  He was MUCH the best…feel really good about him.

The Juvenile Fillies Turf: Testa Rossi – Incredible last to first run in the Miss Grillo Stakes.  Chad Brown horses on the turf…can’t go wrong!

The Marathon: Sky Kingdom – His win at Santa Anita over a distance of ground gives him an edge over the competition at this time.  Still, this is always a difficult race to handicap.
