The Chad Brown-trained Analyze It was the 1/2 favorite with jockey Joe Bravo in the saddle. He completed the firm turf mile event in a final time of 1:35.54, crossing 1 3/4 lengths ahead of Megacity.

“It’s so nice when you deal with the best of the best,” Bravo said. “He came over to the track with so much professionalism, so relaxed. Just by his demeanor, you can tell he’s a good one. He broke alertly, and what makes him such a professional is he has been taught to turn it off and relax. He listened to my orders. I asked him nicely turning for home. Good horses make creases. He made his. He has run against the best of the best. This was a good spot for him to come back. He should get some confidence from this.”

Abiding StarIrish StraitShare the RideSpikes Shirl, and Financial System completed the order of finish.

“We weren’t concerned about the layoff, the way he has been working to come back for this,” said assistant trainer Luis Cabrera. “He just had a few problems, nothing serious. He has been working very good for this, so we had high expectations. I was comfortable the way Joe saved ground along the rail early. That’s what you want. Joe knows what to do. This is a good horse. I would say after this that he is back.”
