American Pharoah Puts in Beastlike Work

American Pharoah puts in beastlike work nearly a week before the Triple Crown winner attempts the “Grand Slam” in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

Tuesday morning, Daily Racing Form‘s Jay Privman tweeted that the final time for the work was 1:10 4/5 (six furlongs). He also said American Pharoah “started 5 back of mate at 6f, 8 in front at wire”.

It’s reported that this was the final major work for the Triple Crown champ before the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
