Breeders Cup Predictions #5

Breeders Cup Predictions #5

untitled1

The Classic: Game On Dude – Sticking with Game On Dude once again…although I’m starting to be intrigued by others.  Mucho Macho Man, Palace Malice, and Will Take Charge are definitely horses on my radar.

The Distaff: Royal Delta – Beginning to think this could be a two horse race between Beholder and Royal Delta, unless Princess of Sylmar shows up.  Right now I give Royal Delta a very small edge.

The Mile: Wise Dan – Would kind of like to bet against him, but I still feel too confident in him on the turf.  Will be interesting to asses his competition.

The Sprint: Fast Bullet – Once again sticking with Fast Bullet in this wide open event.  Love that he’ll be back at six furlongs, and his races at Santa Anita have been great.  Also love the recent workout.  Secret Circle is another horse that is on my radar…

The Filly and Mare Turf: Dank – So impressive on Arlington Million day!  Very confident in this ones chances.

The Turf: Big Blue Kitten – Even though he lost, I think this one is doing so well.  Thought he was much the best in the Hirsch, and know the mile and one-half will be to his liking.

The Juvenile Fillies: Untapable – Loved her win at Churchill last time out, and she definitely has room for improvement off that race.  Asmussen two-year olds have been dazzling this year.

The Juvenile: Strong Mandate – After jumping off the band wagon for a week, I’m back on it this week.  You have to think he’ll rebound from that poor effort last time out, and jockey Joel Rosario hopping aboard is a huge plus.

The Turf Sprint: Mizdirection – Defending champion will be tough to beat on the downhill turf course.  She’s never been beaten on that track.

The Filly and Mare Sprint: Reenesgotzip – Major challengers are lining up behind her in this one.  This could be one of the more exciting races of the entire event.

The Dirt Mile: Verrazano – Now that his stable mate Graydar is heading towards the Classic, Verrazano looks tough in this spot.

The Juvenile Turf: Bobby’s Kitten – Super performance in his first Stakes try.  He was MUCH the best…feel really good about him.

The Juvenile Fillies Turf: Testa Rossi – Incredible last to first run in the Miss Grillo Stakes.  Chad Brown horses on the turf…can’t go wrong!

The Marathon: Sky Kingdom – His win at Santa Anita over a distance of ground gives him an edge over the competition at this time.  Still, this is always a difficult race to handicap.
