Understanding Mike Somich’s Somobombs Picks

This is an add-on product

The Racing Dudes do an amazing job of covering every track, every day. That is simply not possible for me. It was one of the biggest roadblocks to making this possible. I generally only play Gulfstream Park’s Championship Meet, Del Mar, Saratoga, Keeneland, Santa Anita Park, and Churchill Downs, along with any major carryover pools.

For me to be happy with this product, I was not willing to expand on what I do best or rush out additional tracks just because. I bet every single ticket I give out so I’ve got no interest in losing. For that reason, this is an add-on to the Racing Dudes Premium Pick products. If you are playing a track that I am covering that day and you want my multi-race plays and advice, it is now exclusively offered here. Several other players have already cashed HUGE!

My style is extremely volatile

While I have turned an overall profit the last 3 years while playing Pick 3s, Pick 4s, and Pick 5s, I have also had many losing days. What I try to do day in and day out is focus on specific tracks where I know I can do well and look for opportunities to cash five-figure ($10,000+) tickets. One ticket can make a meet; just look at my $35,000 score at Del Mar last year from $148. I stress this because buying one day does not mean that you will win, but it will allow you to tap into the mind of someone who has enjoyed long-term, documented success:

Two tiers – Grid and Grid + Tickets

I bet more money than most, typically around $400-600 per card, depending on my confidence level. For that reason, we have created two product tiers.

The first is simply my grid, where you will get the horses who I believe are must-use, who you should use on middle-sized tickets, and who you should use on deeper tickets. Because this does not include my exact plays, it is available at a lower price point.

The second option includes the grid as well as the tickets that I am planning to play that day. Both the grid and the tickets will be available either the night before or the morning of the races.

The grid and tickets are updated after scratches are public and are generally available at least an hour before the first race post time. If you purchased the product before scratches, then you will receive an e-mail with the updated information.

Make sure that you only play tickets within your budget and look at your results over the course of a month. Also, you do not have to match exactly what I do if it means breaking your bankroll. For instance, if I play a $5 ticket, you can always play it for $0.50 or $2 to reduce your exposure.

This is a multi-race focus

I am ALL about hitting the big score, so I mainly play Pick 4s and Pick 5s. You can use my selections to make your own single-races bets, and I will occassionally call some out in my bets section, but my goal remains hitting big-time multi-race scores.
