On September 29, 2018, Diversify looks to make one last prep for the Breeders’ Cup Classic and defend title in the Grade 1, $750,000 Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park. While the official draw hasn’t happened yet, here’s a list of the probable contenders:

The G1 Jockey Club Gold Cup is is a Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” event, with the winner receiving an automatic berth in the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Churchill Downs on Saturday, November 3.

The G1 Jockey Club Gold Cup is the centerpiece on Saturday, however, Jockey Club Gold Cup Day has other major Breeders’ Cup implications and is loaded with three other graded stakes races: the Grade 1, $500,000 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic, the Grade 1, $350,000 Vosburgh, and the Grade 3, $200,000 Pilgrim.
