Grande Scratched From Kentucky Derby 151

LOUISVILLE, KY – Per Churchill Downs, Repole Stable’s Grande has been scratched from Kentucky Derby 151 due to a foot bruise, according to trainer Todd Pletcher.

Pletcher said he was dealing with something “Similar to what Bob (Baffert) had with Rodriguez. My colt has a bruised foot and its better not to run him now.”

With the defection of Grande and Rodriguez, Baeza has drawn in and the field is down to 19.
