Betting Tips Breeders Cup Predictions #2 September 18, 2012 Betting Tips Breeders Cup Predictions #2 September 18, 2012 By: Aaron Halterman twitterfacebooklinkedinemail Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article The only change in this weeks predictions is in the Juvenile Sprint. Classic: Game On Dude – He remains my pick this week, and I love the jockey change to Bejarano. Ladies Classic: Questing – We’ll see her this week in the Cotillion Stakes at Parx, where she may go up against My Miss Aurelia. Mile: Wise Dan – Dominating performance in the Woodbine Mile, next stop…Breeders Cup Turf Mile. Turf: St. Nicholas Abbey – You would think the defending champion will be pointed here. Juvenile: Know More – Really impressed with his second place effort at Del Mar last time out. Felt like he was the best horse. Dirt Mile: Rail Trip – This was the hardest one to pick out of them all. The race looks wide open. Turf Sprint: Caracortado – Just a shot in the dark here. He’s working out pretty well, and might be ready to return and run big at the right time. Sprint: Amazombie – I really want to pick a long shot here, but just can’t go against Amazombie. Filly and Mare Sprint: It’s Tricky – I think she might be at her very best when sprinting. She’ll probably end up in the Ladies Classic, but if she ends up in this spot I think she dominates. Juvenile Turf: Brown Almighty – It looks like he’s heading for a rematch with Java’s War in the Bourbon Stakes at Keeneland. That race will tell us a lot. I felt like Brown Almighty got a very suspect ride in his last race. Filly and Mare Turf: Zagora – Her performance at the Spa last time out was really strong. Juvenile Filly: Executiveprivilege – She’s still my top choice, even though Dreaming of Julia looks awfully tough as well. This is a very deep division, but you have to love the consistency and class Executiveprivilege has shown. Juvenile Filly Turf: Speedinthruthecity – Really like her last race as a felt like she got the worst of the trips in her third place effort last time out. Marathon: Redeemed – Easy choice for me at this point. Juvenile Sprint: Carried Interest – If they can get him 100% healthy, he could be a force. His maiden win was one of the more impressive ones I’ve seen this year.
