We are just 12 weeks away from Kentucky Derby 144, and with that, Pool 2 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW) closes with the mutual field of “All Others” as the 5-2 favorite. Champion 2-Year-Old Male and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner Good Magic and multiple Grade 1 winner Bolt d’Oro were the co-second betting choices at odds of 8-1.

Total handle for Pool 2 was a staggering $521,650 ($363,389 in the Win pool and $158,262 in Exactas), a 58.1% increase over last year’s $330,043 ($227,881 in the Win pool and $102,162 in Exactas).
There are now two more remaining 2018 Kentucky Derby Future Wager pools: March 9-11 (KDFW Pool 3) and April 6-8 (KDFW Pool 4). And as we get closer to the first Saturday in May, these pools are going to become more and more clear.
