Forte Retired From Racing | Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Champ Won Multiple Grade 1s At 2, 3

Aaron & Jared discuss the breaking news that the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile champion Forte was retired from horse racing prior to competing in the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Classic.

The Todd Pletcher trainee won multiple Grade 1 races at ages 2 & 3, including a 2023 Florida Derby (G1) victory that made Forte the morning line favorite for the Kentucky Derby (G1). The son of Violence was scratched the morning of the race by a Kentucky state veterinarian due to a foot injury.
