Analysis: Race 8 is pretty cut and dry, so I believe we are safe in that one. Race 9 looks to be wide open, so I went five deep. Hierro is the favorite, but has done very little running outside of Churchill Downs. Trinniberg seems logical, but did the Kentucky Derby take too much out of him? Power World, Isn’t He Clever, and Currency Swap all have legit shots to pull an upset that would help our payout tremendously. Race 10 is a wide open, featuring several experienced turf runners. In the big one, race 11, I feel that Dullahan and Paynter are the only ones that are logical win candidates.

Analysis: I used Winter Memories as the single, as she is definitely the logical option out of the four races. I just cut a couple of horses out in races 9 and 10, but still played several in those two races. In the Belmont Stakes I used Dullahan and Paynter. Any other horse winning would be a surprise.
